These hanmade fruit bowls could be called ‘fruit bridges’, as they are loosely based on the famous Mostar bridge in Bosnia – an Ottoman construction originally built in the 16th century.
These beautiful fruit bowls are made from walnut or ash and are combined with curved recycled plastic made from yoghurt pots. If you look carefully you can see some flecks of aluminium lids in the surface.
Traditionally wooden bowls are turned on a lathe. This is one of a series of contemporary fruit bowls made using different methods, all designed and made in our wokrshop in small batches. A perfect gift for the design-conscious person in your life!
